About the Sonata

This ambient instrumental was composed in a moment of inspiration. An improvised, experimental counterpoint between upright piano and monochord (a 39 stringed wooden, sound therapy instrument, with all strings tuned to the same note), the sonata brews with contemplation and meditation. Behind the Music

This song was composed by Temple Haze (Piano, Voice, Production) and Alisa Reimer (Monochord) the co founders of Soneiro Collective. It is also the first single from the collective.

About the Monochord

The Monochord was built this year by our Co-Founder Alisa Reimer. She travelled to Austria to meet a Soundartist who built the main corpus of this instrument. Together with his son Jakob she finished the instrument and brought it all the way to Berlin. Since then this soundship invites people to go on a transformational journey. In private sessions they can experience it in direct contact - laying on the instrument. And in Meditations people can listen to it. This is why we recorded it for this unique Sonata.
