The Soneiro Sound Training gives you the opportunity to experience sound work on an artistic and holistic level while opening pathways to work with sound and your voice. The training enriches your professional path, while also supporting your personal development.
You will learn practical knowledge and techniques that you can then integrate into your everyday life, artistic practice, as well as combine it with your individual therapeutic or holistic work. At the end of this training you will have the skills to create and facilitate your own sound experiences and confidently hold space with sound.

The Modules

Understanding the principles and science behind sound therapy and its effects on the human body, mind and spirit. A holistic perspective combining science, yogic wisdom, animism, philosophy and much more.

Hands-on sessions where participants will practice using different instruments and sound tools such as Himalayan Singing Bowls, the Gong, the Monochord, a Full Body Monochord for 1:1 sessions, as well as several other ancient, therapeutic and melodic instruments (you do not have to own or bring any to the training).

Opening the voice, vocal toning, chanting and singing. Using the voice as an emotional release tool, to open up into spaces of resonance.

Learning how to facilitate experiences with sound and discussing how to integrate sound into existing therapeutic or artistic practices.

Learning to design, create and guide sound journeys for individuals as well as groups

A great focus of our work is the personal experience which you will go through during the training.
100hr Training Immersion
The training is divided into 3 formats of study and practice.
1.) There are two virtual classrooms that take place in Zoom Live Sessions (see dates below)
2.) in addition to that you also receive certain modules in video form, to prepare you for the
3.) in-person immersion which takes place during a 7-day training retreat experience
in a beautiful artist community in Brandenburg, 90 minutes outside Berlin .

Certification
You will receive a Soneiro Sound Training certificate at the end of the 7 Day Immersion.
For yoga teachers registered with Yoga Alliance, this is an official 100hr continuing education course

Our Retreat Center & Cuisine
We provide completely organic, regional and seasonal cuisine
We are spending the 7 days in an artist community in serene nature, surrounded by forests, lakes and rivers. This place is an inspiring piece of utopia, a little Garden of Eden where we wake up to symphonies of birds singing, walk through enchanted gardens of wild herbs, healing plants and flowers in all colors. Our chefs bring you healthy, creative, colorful and fresh vegetarian / vegan meals every day. If you have any allergies you can let us know when you book your space.
About 1 hour away from Berlin by car.
Accessible by public transport.
We will connect you all before the retreat so you can organise ride shares together!
The Sauna Wagon
Enjoy the the natural sauna experience, with the sauna wagon, in the gardens of our retreat center.

Our training is made for all levels!
Beginners with no musical experience, those with some experience and also those who are professional musicians. You do not need previous experience with music or playing music, however it’s great if you do have experience.We do recommend you start getting acquainted with how sound and music affect you in daily life.
We have a full range of participants, from professional musicians to those who have never picked up an instrument before. All are welcome!

Our in person training specialises on the therapeutic use of Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, the gong, metallophones and chimes, steel tongue drums, monochords, sansula, frame drum, other melodic instruments and the human voice.
Our Online Course specialises in the therapeutic use of tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls & the human voice. We also provide here and there guidance in using other melodic instruments, but it isn’t the main focus.

Our in person training class sizes range between 20-27 people.

We have incredible handmade singing bowls available through our webshop. These bowls have unique character, long resonance and are hand selected by our Team.

You do not NEED any instruments before the In Person Training, but it is recommended.
If you have an instrument that you would like to connect with, we encourage you to bring it to the in person training.
At the training we have a plethora of instruments to work with and explore so all you need to bring is yourself! -
Of Course you can. It is all a practice and you are very invited to practice with us. During the Trainings we offer different meditation techniques ranging from mindfulness meditations to visual and auditory meditations, such as our sound meditations. Walking meditations, Yoga Nidra, Breathwork and many other practices.

We conduct our events in both English and German, but please note that the Sound Training is held in English. For the best experience, we recommend that participants have at least a B1 level of English. However, we often provide translations for portions of the lectures to accommodate students with a lower level of English proficiency.
That said, sound and music transcend spoken language—they are universal languages of their own. Most of the training is hands-on and experiential, allowing you to learn through direct practice and experience. So, don’t let language concerns hold you back—we’re here to support you!

Check in is from 16:00 - 17:30 on the Monday
Check out is from 14:00 on the Sunday.
If you need to leave early for travel reasons, you can around 12:30 on the Sunday. For certification you must attend all 7 days of the training.
