The first stage of our 4DSOUND journey has just taken place in New York as we are thrilled to be apart of ELEMENTS by MONOM at THE MUSEUM OF ART AND TECHNOLOGY, more on that in the input!
Soneiro in NEW YORK <3 Thrilled about the opening of this exhibition at THE MUSEUM OF ART AND TECHNOLOGY where we had the great honor to collaborate on.
Big thanks to MONOM for the invitation to bring in our instruments, expertise and voices to this piece, Alisa and Temple entered a vortex of creative super flow with Ale and William in their incredible studio at Funkhaus at the end of 2023. We recorded, played, sang, shared, created, and mostly: deeply listened.
We are very grateful to be part of this one of a kind sound experience, called ‚The Elements‘. The piece is now on repeat in this new 4DSOUND permanent studio for embodied listening in the heart of New York City, 21 Dey Street - Mercer Labs : Museum for Art and Technology
The MOAT houses one of only three large-scale @4dsound systems in the world and one of two with a vibroacoustic transducer floor. This is a sanctuary for pure sound immersion within a 37,000 ft 15-room multi-sensory art exhibition space created by artist Roy Nachum .
It is a mesmerising feeling to imagine that we worked on a Sound Meditation Experience that is played on the other side of the world, without us being present there.
